Financial risk

Financial risk problems,
solved with software.

Make the team you already have more productive, before you hire another.

Infer Analytics was built to solve financial risk problems by merging software engineering with risk management expertise. The Infer platform brings analytics, financial analysis, risk monitoring, governance and work management onto a single login and unified permissions.

What Infer does

One set of data, two mandates.

The front office and risk run on opposing mandates. Sales wants the account opened and the client kept. Risk wants the exposure contained. When the commercial view and the risk view draw from the exact same data, that tension stays productive rather than turning into reconciliation work.

1

Decide the method

How exposure is measured, how limits are set, and what the credit view rests on.

2

Put it somewhere

Onto the platform, or into the environment you already run, where it works daily rather than quarterly.

3

Keep it defensible

Assumptions, changes and approvals recorded, so the method can be reviewed rather than recalled.

The problem

Two desks, two versions of the same counterparty.

Risk keeps one list. The relationship manager keeps another. Between them sit the questions that actually matter: has this prospect been signed off, is this client funded today, and who has been chased about it. Each is answered from a different spreadsheet, on a different day.

  • Sign-off happens over email. The deposit that was agreed, and why, is remembered rather than recorded.
  • Deficits are counted by hand. Business days, public holidays, and chase dates get worked out per client, per market.
  • Nobody agrees on the list. Risk and RM argue about who is in arrears before they can discuss what to do about it.

The platform

One counterparty record, from prospect to daily oversight.

Infer connects the credit view with the commercial one. Prospect, client, exposure, deposit, trades, and contact history hang off the same record, so risk and relationship management work the one list, and the routine work between them is automated rather than repeated.

One counterparty record

Both desks read the same exposures, deposits, and contact history, so the disagreement is about the decision rather than the data.

The daily work, already decided

The deficit roll runs the business-day arithmetic per jurisdiction and tells you who to chase today, instead of leaving it to a spreadsheet.

Governed access by design

Company, department, and role grants are applied in the security rules, so bypassing the interface does not bypass the permission.

The platform

Seven modules, one connected platform.

Each module is useful on its own and stronger alongside the others, sharing data, analytics, permissions and one secure login. Modules are enabled per firm, so you take what you need and add the rest when it earns its place.

Analytics

Portfolio and exposure indicators alongside client trading boards built from a pre-aggregated daily roll, with full-window presentation and PDF export.

Financial Analysis

Counterparty financial statements worked through to the ratios that drive the credit view, from raw statements to credit-ready metrics.

Profitability · Cash Flow · Balance Sheet

Risk Analytics

Gross and net exposure by counterparty, a flagged watchlist, the shortfall cycle against whichever control your policy uses, and the sign-off queue for incoming business.

Watchlist · Exposures · Monitoring · Prospective Clients

Relationship and Sales

The prospect pipeline through risk sign-off to whatever acceptance stage your firm operates, plus the same monitoring tables risk sees, so both desks work the one list.

Prospective Clients · Risk · BAC · Deposit Monitoring

Governance, Risk and Compliance

On the operational risk side: risk registers, risk and control self-assessments, incident reporting and risk appetite tracking. On the governance side: policy management, know your customer and anti-money laundering.

Registers · RCSA · Incidents · Appetite · Policy · KYC · AML

Process Automation

The routine work your staff repeat every day, taken off their plate. Fewer copy-and-paste steps between systems, shaped to the business rather than a fixed template.

Ad hoc automation

Collaborative Workflow Tracking

Work that crosses desks stays visible while it is in progress, rather than surfacing once it has stalled. Shared tracking sits inside the module where the work already lives, so ownership, progress, and what each side is waiting on stay apparent to everyone with a reason to see them.

What flexible actually means

Configured to your policy. Not to ours.

Every deployment is scoped to the client, so the platform bends to how your desk works rather than the other way around. Your instruments, your jurisdictions, your existing systems, and the words your people already use for them. Two firms under the same regulator rarely run the same process, and none of that should require a change to the software.

Risk services

The platform is not the whole offer.

For firms not in the market for another software platform, the risk work stands completely on its own. Credit and counterparty risk modelling, exposure and collateral methodology, counterparty financial analysis, and limit and policy frameworks, delivered into the environment you already run and on the tools your people already know.

Either way, the risk expertise comes first.

Risk work does not have to run on the Infer platform, and we do not treat it as a route to selling one. Where the platform helps, it carries the same work into daily use and keeps it current. Where it does not, the work stands on its own and remains entirely yours. The software is optional.

Put risk and relationship on the same record.

See Infer against your own counterparty workflow, and how a bespoke deployment would fit.
